Thanks for looking up my website and taking the time to find out more about my books and me. PIE TOWN was released in June, 2011 and I had a great time going on tour in North Carolina, Washington, and New Mexico. I especially enjoyed being in Pie Town for the Pie Festival in September. What a great event! I’m also happy to report that PIE TOWN was selected as one of MORE.com's Top Twenty Beach Reads this summer and as the Winner of the 2011 New Mexico Book Awards, Fiction/Adventure category. Reviewed by BOOKLIST, it was written, "Hinton weaves some old-time religion, including several interventions by angels, into her feel-good story-one that will be enjoyed by readers of Jan Karon and Nicholas Sparks."

WELCOME BACK TO PIE TOWN, a sequel to PIE TOWN is out in July. It is a story of a young veteran returning home after sustaining injuries while at war. It is another look at how a community comes forward to support one of their own. A little romance, a little mystery, WELCOME BACK TO PIE TOWN is another step into this small New Mexico village.
